DESCRIPTION:The Emmet-Chalmers Firefighters Association will hold its annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Saturday\, November 5\, 2022 at the Emmet – Chalmers Fire Station. Pancakes\, sausage\, coffee and orange juice will be served from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm. Tickets will be available at the door: $8.00 for adults. The fire station is located just west of Macomb\, Illinois at 3041 West Adams Road. The Pancake and Sausage Breakfast is a major fund raiser for the Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters. The money raised will be used to buy needed equipment and support firefighter training.

SUMMARY:Bowl For Kids' Sake 2022 - The 90's Rewind
DESCRIPTION:BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE is a bowl-a-thon in which participants PRE-COLLECT donations and bowl a game to benefit children throughout the region who need a mentor and a Big Brother or Big Sister! We are hosting a one-day event at Digger’s College City Bowl in Macomb on Saturday\, November 5th. BFKS is our largest team fundraiser and a nationally-recognized Big Brothers Big Sisters event. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a fun and easy way for community members to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our fundraising goal for 2022 is $25\,000. We can achieve this goal\, but not without your help! You can start the pace of giving with your own personal tax-deductible contribution\, and then continue by collecting as many donations as possible for each team member. A minimum of $300 per team (5/6 players) must be raised in order to participate in our Team Bowl! If a team reaches the minimum amount\, each team member will receive an event t-shirt\, one-hour bowling\, prizes and give a ways! Let’s get started! 1. Appoint a Team Captain. 2. Invite friends to participate. 3. Complete and submit your Team Registration form\, securing your time slot of 10:30 AM\, or 1:30 PM on Nov 5th (Space is limited–don’t wait to register!). 4. Decide how team members will collect donations: either via a paper Collection form OR Cash\, PayPal.me/BBBSMV\, Venmo.com/ BBBSMV\, Online at www.bbbsmv.org/donate\, Check Payable to BBBS. 5. Bring your pre-collected donations of check or cash to the event or turn in to the BBBS office 1401 W University Dr\, Macomb\, IL 61455 prior to the event.
