DESCRIPTION:A public reception for “George and Renee Mavigliano: Celebrating a Shared Life in Art” will be held on Thursday\, March 9\, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the WIU Art Gallery. The husband and wife collaborators met in 1962 while attending Western Illinois University. In addition to becoming a family of five\, the Maviglianos spent their professional careers working in art education\, sharing their love of art with high school and university students. This exhibition is a collection of their work created over a shared lifetime.
