Eight ceramic eggs with accompanying spring-themed nature facts are placed throughout the prairie for you to discover and explore! \n  \nThis FREE\, self-guided outdoor event is open to visitors every day from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm beginning on April 1 through April 30. We can’t wait to see you in the prairie this spring! Parking is available in the lot near the Nature Center when the main entrance gate is open or to the left/right of the gate when it is closed. Boots and tick repellent spray are recommended. DESCRIPTION:Join us this month as we use a variety of natural materials to create a mixed media creation housed within an embroidery hoop! In this workshop\, we’ll walk through a series of simple construction steps as we design a nest made of stitched sticks\, moss\, felt\, and other small whimsical wonders! We can’t wait to celebrate the season with you! \n  \n*Nature Makers Workshops are open to ages 16 and up as well as all skill levels. All materials are included in the workshop fee.
