DESCRIPTION:Stop by and check out the museum’s Garage Sale with Jeff Holtz.  We have A LOT of vinyl records that have been donated over the years and we’re selling ‘em! Don’t worry\, we will keep a selection for the museum’s collection and all proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase archive materials for the collection. \nThe Garage Sale will be held on three Saturday mornings\, including\, June 29 11 to 2:00 pm (Heritage Days)\, August 24\, and November 9\, from 9:00 am to noon. Coffee and donuts will be served. We’ll take cold hard cash or checks only.

DESCRIPTION:Wildlife Prairie Park’s \nAmazing Animals Wildlife Program  \nSaturday\, August 24\, 2019 \n6:00 – 7:00 p.m. \nCome learn about native Illinois wildlife (from all five vertebrate animal groups) as naturalists from Wildlife Prairie Park share some interesting facts about several native Illinois animals that will be brought for viewing.  This program will be held at the park’s Pioneer shelter (2nd left).  For more information about this program\, please call the park visitor center/office at (309)776-3422. \nGeneral Program Information: \n\nMeet at the park visitor center for all hikes and programs unless otherwise indicated in above program descriptions.\nAll programs are free and open to the general public. Participation in any program involving the use of FOA equipment (skis\, kayaks\, paddleboards\, etc.) will require participants to become a member of the Friends of Argyle organization.  Annual membership fees are $10 per individual\, $15 for a single parent family and $20 for a two parent family.\nPlease contact park staff with any special needs or concerns prior to the program date\, so requested arrangements /accommodations can be made.\nFor more specific program information or to register for a program\, please call the park visitor center at (309)776-3422 or email Hinchee@illinois.gov.
