SUMMARY:42nd Annual Leatherneck Club Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:The 42nd Annual Leatherneck Club Golf Classic is set for Monday\, June 3\, 2019! \nThe cost is $125 per person\, and includes: Food and drinks at the Sunday social\, 18 holes of golf\, cart\, Adidas registration gift\, Jimmy John’s box lunch\, social\, and steak dinner. Visit LeatherneckTickets.com to register\, or call the WIU Athletics department at (309) 298-1190 for more information. \nRegistration begins at 11:00 a.m. at Harry Mussatto Golf Course\, and tee time is set for 12:00 p.m. The event will feature numerous Leatherneck student-athletes\, coaches\, and administrators\, along with prizes and giveaways. \nHole sponsorships are available for the Leatherneck Club Golf Classic. A sponsorship of $750 allows four golfers to participate\, and includes a custom hole flag\, Adidas registration gifts for four\, advertisement on starter sheets\, tee box signage\, and opportunity for advertisements in giveaway bags. For the fifth-straight year\, banks that sponsor a hole for $750 will compete for the coveted “Battle of the Banks” traveling trophy\, which is awarded to the bank-sponsored team with the lowest score. Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a great prize courtesy of Gamage TV & Appliance and The Old Dairy. \nThe annual pre-golf social is scheduled for Sunday\, June 2\, 2019 at the Macomb Country Club starting at 6 p.m. All Leatherneck Club members and any individual interested in learning more about the Leatherneck Club are welcome to attend. \nFounded in 1971\, the Leatherneck Club is the primary fundraising program of Western Illinois University Athletics.
