and moved to its current location in 1993. Continued growth has

J. Greathouse, D.O., Ph.D.
Since arriving
in Macomb in 1989, my practice has evolved into a branch of internal
medicine called gastroenterology. I enjoy procedures such as upper
endoscopies (to look in the stomach), lower endoscopies (to look
in the other end), broncoscopies (to look in the lungs) and a variety
of other procedures to help in diagnosing problems associated with
heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea and bloody stools.
I went to
college at Eastern and graduated with a B.S in 1969. I received
a Ph.D. from SIU in 1976 and later completed my medical degree
in 1978 through the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I also spent some time in the military from 1974 until 1988 where
I reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Esther
Seo, M.D., Internal Medicine
Dr. Seo focuses on complex medical needs of adults,
women's health, including preventative screenings, chronic illness
management, and diagnosis of symptoms. Upon completion of her
bachelor's degree in chemistry from Loyola University, Dr. Seo
received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at
Chicago. She completed her residency at the University of Illinois
and Westside Veterans Administration Hospitals in Chicago.

Whitehead, RN, MS, FNP
In 1990, while working at MDH as a registered nurse,
I went back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. In 1997,
I received my Master of Science degree in Public Health Nursing
and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the University
of Illinois at Chicago School of Nursing, Quad Cities Program.
As a nurse
practitioner, I work with the doctors on issues such as health
maintenance, disease prevention and patient education. I enjoy
women's health and perform the majority of yearly exams for our
female patients.
