2005 - Macomb welcomes Pella Corporation
Macomb extends a warm welcome to Pella Corporation. At a press
conference at the Western Illinois Business & Technology
Center, the company announced they will be opening a plant on
the eastern edge of Macomb.
The projected timeline is:
- April 20, 2005 - Ground Breaking Ceremony for new facility
- Fall 2005 - Hiring and training
- 2006 - Plant open for production
Pella Corporation is
headquartered in Pella, Iowa, and manufactures windows and doors.
The company has been honored by Fortune
Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to work for.
