Macomb extends a warm welcome to Pella Corporation. At a press conference at the Western Illinois Business & Technology Center, the company announced they will be opening a plant on the eastern edge of Macomb.

The projected timeline is:

• April 20, 2005 - Ground Breaking Ceremony for new facility
• Fall 2005 - Hiring and training
• 2006 - Plant open for production
